Hey guys..as an editor of an online travel magazine I hire writers all the time
to review hotels, restaurants and more....please please please keep in mind that
writers/reviewers are only one opinion. Just because a reviewer has a
high-profile forum to express their opinions does not mean they are more of an
expert than any of us. Also, please keep in mind that most (not all) car
purchases are not made based on any reviews. Again, the point I am trying to
make is this is just one bad review of several to come...its why reviewers have
jobs...they can't always be good..take it for what its worth....one person's
opinion. Thanks..

Don't let one or two reports sway your opinion. I'm glad I didn't see this report before I bought my X-Type 3.0. I might not have gone to test drive it. There's no way a reviewer can get a sense of living with a car as does an owner. I don't have my car very long, only about 7 weeks and 1200 miles, but I can tell you this review is dead wrong. It is a joy to drive aggressively, it is comfortable and has a great growl from the engine(I traded a BMW 330Ci for my X-Type). This article will do readers an injustice if it keeps them from considering the X-Type as a potential purchase.

absolutely devastating report! it almost convinces me to stay away from the x.
