I am getting a 3.0 and want a phone that will intergrate with the car but not at the dealer price. Does anyone know if any kit or phone will work?


I am sorry to say that as a JAG technician, there is NO phone that will work with the currrent system on an X-type! Reason being...the audio system is the brain of all the telematics, and it uses fiber-optic communication. If you want a phone that will work with the system (IE:handsfree/compatibility), you will have to shell out the bucks!
