What about your original problem, condensation inside the headlamps? What was the build date on your car, ours should arrive this week and I am wondering if it will have this valve installed? Is there any site that lists Jaguar TSBs like this?
Went to service and had the guy look at the nozzles and he told me it was normal! Then I told him about the control valve that would stop the leaking and he said he doesn't know anything about it. He even got the other service guys to check the other X-types on the lot and it did the same thing. Gonna go back and bitch to them about this. The washer fluid has already left stains on my hood that I can't get off. And I've only had the car for a week!
Your service department needs to install a control valve in the washer fluid line to stop the nozzles from leaking. Jaguar has started to add this valve to newly produced cars. Evidently this problem is pretty common. I was given this information when I brought my car in for service and the service advisor checked with Jaguar technical suppoet.

Hi I just picked up my 2.5 X about...3 hours ago and noticed when i got home that all 4 of the headlights has condensation on the bottom area. I have the HIDs but i don't think that would have anything to do with it. Anyways does anybody experience the same thing?
Besides this little annoyance, I love this car!
You refer to "HIDs", are those optional or standard? The reason I ask is I have also have a 2.5 on order. I'm hoping your answer is that HIDs are the "optional" high intensity lights. Please reply.
Thanks
Sorry forgot to mention, yes they are the HIDs that are optional.
Update: condensation is gone this morning but noticed streaks of washer fluid all over the hood from the 2 nozzles...hmmm
