I deal with a BMW dealer and a Jaguar dealer.
With both makes, I have dealt with good dealers and bad.

Since in the US, import dealers are independently owned, the manufactures have very little control. Not to mention if a dealer is selling a lot (like BMW and Jaguar) they are even less prone to do anything.

Upstarts like Acura, Lexus, and Infiniti had to be good to compete...and there manufactures set forth regulation from the beginning.

Anyway.... my Jaguar's service has been very good, with the exception of a work order ticket being written wrong and the wrong mirror replaced.

With BMW, similar experiences.
