Does the 3.0 X-Type Sport run OK on regular gas or is a higher octane needed?


What does the 2.5 run on 91 or 93 octane

I'm not sure about the 2.5 but my guess would be that 93 octane is also necessary. Obviously, regular gas would be excluded which usually is an 87 octane rating.
