Nearly killed in my X-Type. (archive)

I have 800 miles on my X-type. 300 of which has been going back to the dealer. At anytime, my car's computer panel announces all systems have failed, and the car slows to 5 mph, making a rasping sound. Tonight, it did it in the middle of an intersection, with cars coming at me at high speed. It has been back at the shop, the log points to no particular problems. I am afraid to drive this car. It has every option (3.0 engine) Has anyone else had this?
