Ken, I agree that my personal taste would be to use only that part of the kit that covers the center console, ie. A/C, Audio and ashtray lid. That might be too much for some people, but for my taste, the charcoal interior in my car is very monotone and could use a little brightening up. It's great that we can both be satisfied.

Looks like they only have a picture of the bird's eye maple in standard trim, although they say it's available in the sport package gray.

These are the 4 I found, although my dealer says none of them is their supplier. I know that exoticwooddash.com has a picture of the wood kit in the standard bird's eye maple, but I haven't looked for the gray stained wood. The gray wood is definitely available at all of the places I have listed, so I'm sure a dealer would be able to get it also.

...do any of them have pictures of a kit installed on an X-type? Do you know what wood colors are available through your particular dealer? I am wondering if the charcoal wood from the sports package is available.

Although this looks "nice" initially, it is IMHO, pure overkill. Why not keep it in its
original form?
