Anybody played with the tire pressures? (m) (archive)

I have a 3.0 with the base suspension and 16" tires and have been running 33F/33R psi. The front tires look pretty flat at that pressure and I wanted a crisper turn-in, so I upped the front pressure to 36 psi. With a short trip around the block, I noticed an improvement in the area I was looking for. The quick reference shows recommended front tire pressure of 38 psi for high speed, so I guess I'm within the allowable tolerances. I'd appreciate some feedback on your preferences. Thanks.
