Scott, I am double your age, but just traded a 330Ci on a 3.0 X-Type. The BMW was my 8th, and until Jaguar introduced the X-Type with a manual transmission, I didn't think I'd own one either. The 325Xi is a fine car, but for me, the X-Type offers the same driving thrills, without the harsh suspension and more comfort. The X-Type also gives you the rain sensing wipers and auto on/off headlights, which are only available on the 330, not the 325. The steering feel is also much better on the X-Type than the 3 series. I believe the X-Type will be bringing a much younger customer base to Jaguar, not only because of price, buy because of the sportiness of the car. I don't think you will go wrong if you decide to get the X-Type.

Mike

About to order a 2.5X with Premium, weather, nav system, premium sound. Only debate is the colors. Looked at and drove 325xi, which was my first choice. For less money, I get the above configuration Jag. THe Bimmer does not include the 6- disc changer, parking sensors, or nav system.

THe biggest issue for me is "image". The BMW to me say young, sporty, fun. I am 26 years old, so i didn't figure on driving a JAguar for a few more years but oh well. I dont think i can pass up on the value.

Just rambling, but if I place this order you will here more from me!!

Scott
