my x-type has been in the shop 18 of the 50 days i have owned it. the sunroof keeps breaking (timing is off, won't close flush and water gets in...) the motor was replaced once, the sunroof would then operat only off the one (fwd) button without one-touch close. the component is being replaced AGAIN. supposedly not an electrical wiring problem, but no one can explain the source. my advice to you would be WAIT or buy a BMW.
