It was the same on both 3.0 X-types I test drove. I found the clutch and gear engagement much easier to get used to than my 330Ci. I found the throws shorter and just a little notchier. Nice engine sound, sweet ride. Good handling without being beat to death like in the BMW.


I test drove a 3.0L manual X-type. I noticed the clutch engaged/disengaged very close to the fully depressed pedeal position. I've yet to test drive any other models, and I was wondering if this is normal for the X-type.
