Even as a second hand car, I don't think too many people would bu a Jaguar just to take to the train station. It's still a luxury car and most individuals spending this kind of money would like all the conveniences possible.


Well, I don't know about c240 but just from my personal experience, I don't think the moonroof will significantly affect the resale value of any 2nd hand car. Think about it, if you were looking to buy a 2nd hand car, would you pay thousands more just for the sunroof. People turn to the 2nd hand market because of $$$, therefore will definitely not pay a significant premium for options like sunroof.


Due to the high price of the option packages, I have arranged to factory order a 2.5 without moonroof, but haven't placed the order yet. I've heard that with the Mercedes C240, if you get one without a moonroof, that the resale value will be many thousands less. I need some advice.
