Hmmm...the doors all have at least a double rubber seal on them. I didn't notice a problem on the one I test-drove. The noise could be coming from the side mirrors--sometimes the shape of those mirrors and the way air flow goes between them and the car can produce noises. I'll have to try to do another drive and listen for this. However, if I have to try hard to hear a noise...it means the noise probably isn't a problem. :)

I'd be interested in hearing your experiences with your 2.5. Have you already ordered it, or are you holding off due to the concerns about the transmission and wind noise?

Alan: Ordered my Adriatic Blue/Sand Interior with automatic on 8-10-01. Dealer said that I should get it in Dec OR Jan '02....(ouch). Interesting though......according to info faxed by the dealer my "Build Period" is "10/2001".
Assuming its actually built at the end of October
why would it (OR would it) actually take 2 months to get Illinois?
