I was wondering how many people have already bought an X-Type...if so, are most of you getting an automatic or a stick shift? The appeal of the X-Type to me is that finally you can get a Jaguar in the U.S. with a stick shift!

Are there many people having to wait for these cars...ordering them to spec...or is the supply to dealerships keeping up with demand?

I ordered a 3.0 with prem, audio & navi the day after seeing at the NY Auto Show in April. Was told that it would be part of first allocation. It is supposed to arrive this weekend at dealer. The wait is difficult after reading postings on this site. Good luck to all who are still waiting
