In NJ it seems that the dealers are asking for and getting MSRP. When I ordered my X-type there was no bargainning on price,it was MSRP all the way. I ordered a 2.5 manual trans. on August 1 and was told that it would arrive in mid-oct. I am also hearing from my dealer that they have a greater supply of 3.0 vs. 2.5 liters. However, having driven both I do not find the larger engine necesary for my needs (especially for $6000).

If anyone is getting negotiation on the MSRP it would be good to know?
