Hm...I haven't noticed very much wind noise on the car (3.0 Auto), there's a fair amount of road noise since the suspension is relatively stiff but definitely not wind noise. Perhaps only on the M-Ways (I'm in California, USA).

The Premium Audio system (which still comes with cassette up front!!!) can be better.

This is an English site ole chap. It road tests the X-Type and on the negative side are two points: Some wind noise and transmission jerkiness. These comments refer to the 2.5. I am getting it with automatic transmission.

My questions to you folks is this......What, if any problems have you had (or heard about) as to "Wind Noise" and "Transmission Jerkiness". IF indeed these ARE problems,
what, if anything, is being/will be done about it. These two things really bother me.

Lastly, attention BRITS: we in the good old United States do NOT want a cassette......how difficult would it have been to supply a built-in single CD player in the dash?
Inquiring Minds want to know. By the way, a cassette, is
basically a USELESS piece of *****!!!......I think you get the idea! Otherwise......a simply Marvelous Car!!!

Oh, while I'm on a "role", your choice of colors for the
X-Type are very poor......the colors offered on the "S Type" are MUCH classier! Your comments are appreciated so let the comments begin.
