Just about every review I've seen gives the X-Type high marks - great news! While I am taken with this baby Jag, I plan to stick to my rule-of-thumb on new models: wait for year 2 or end of year 1 before buying (generally better pricing and fewer bugs/glitches).

I wonder what the timetable is for the convertible?
