Not true....I drove one almost a month ago.My dealer has delivered 3 to date. Relying on electronics to replace a limited slip is a cost cutting measure. If they truly want to chase the M5 or E55, Jag has to step up to the plate.

Performance aside, it Ford heritage will always make the S Type an unwanted step sister. Look at it's horrible resale value.

Asof today, 6/10, R's have not been released from port yet. I have one on order and can't wait. Since Jag is looking for a different type of driverthan say BMW, they regulate wheel spin by using the brakes. Uless you want to race these cars or do burnouts, the limited slip is not really needed, in Jag's opinion. We will see.

Jag has said that they want their own niche. The R is a fast luxury car not intended for all out performance driving. Jag's audience is probably a more conservative one than BMW's. I for one don't want to shift gears anymore. Cutting costs for something (limited slip) that is not needed makes sense to me. I like the great leather, the killer stereo, the beautiful lines. The car is infinitely more appealing to ME tan the M5 or E55. The others are good cars, and I am sure their consumers will buy them up.
