I don't know about the software yet but I know that my R was delayed 10 days due a new software for the transmission ;-)

As of today, Jaguar North America has not yet shipped any R's out of Port Newark. Maybe they are changing the software. The CD article stated that the car could never develop the full 400 horsepower because the tranny shifted too soon BELOW redline in each gear. We will all just have to wait and see. I'm supposed to drive the first one my dealer gets in and I will report when I do.
