I am used to younger crowds in the motorcycle communities on-line and the wealth of resources, but am finding that XKE stuff is a bit more Niche. My dad has realized he is never going to restore this car and is looking for me to help him find a new home. He bought it back in the 80's as a basketcase roller, and took it completely apart. His first big speed bump was that he got caught up building a device to mount the body to that can roll around and rotate the body to do the body work. I don't think he ever made it past that point. He did collect parts, books, and models for the last 20 years, but not much work has ever been done
I would like recommendations on where to look for values of the parts, how to identify the exact vehicle and if the numbers are matching, or possibly find somebody interested in buying the whole project as a lot. Any direction that can be given to put me on my path would be appreciated. We are located in Fresno California.
