| Message: | I will check that, thanks. In fact I have a new cap, rotor and wires to install, I will replace them and let you know. The more I think about it though I believe its the fuel pump. You used to be able to hear the gas going into the engine and now there is nothing. I will keep you posted. And with your idle issue, Make sure the linkages are not frozen on the carbs, check usually vac lines etc and if you pull out the oil dipper ontop of the carb, make sure oil is in there and when you put it back in whilst the car is running the idle should come way down for a sec.
