It May Seem Odd But Just Yesturday I Had The Same Problem ... Look Under The Distributor Cap. It Ironic But I Have A 71 V-12 Type E That Sat For 22 Years I Rebuilt The Carbs And Renued The Gas Tank New Fuel lines Ect ... I Started It Yesturday It Ran For Five Minits And Clonked Out I Found that the Moisture Under the Cap Got Hot Enough To Evaporate And Condence On The Cap And Rotor A Quick Spray With Wire Drier And It Started Up Again But Now It Idles At 1500 With Choke Off And Cant Find Why. Also CHECK YOUR TRANSMISSION BEFORE DRIVING!!
I Drove Mine Today About 1/4 Mile And It Started Slipping Even Full Of Fluid.
