I'd look at a 2003 or later. It's a much better car. M primary worry about a 2000 would be the Nikasil cylinders. At 100K miles I'd also be worried about the transmission. 12K is pretty low but you could easily put 8K into it to bring it up to snuff. The cylinders excluded of course. Still, 20K is a pretty fair price for an 00 XKR.
