| Message: | SDMac, I'm with you on this one I'm afraid, my dear darling wife gets worried when I get within 50% of the XK's potential, as a Pilot I am always trying to find the limit. A word of caution however, in the Tornado we would pull 6g (x-axis) on a regular basis (aided by 'G ' pants and other sexy things.. NOT! It was something that you learnt to cope with. I flew the F16 twice, F15 once and the Eurofighter Typhoon once. On all occasions I pulled 9g's and man did it hurt, at the end of the Typhoon flight (1min sustained 9g) the blood pooling in my feet and arms had turned my toes and fore arms pure black, and the minus 3g's gave me bright red eyes. At that point I worked out I was too old for this game. Boy was it fun!! When the skys are blue and I hear the F15's out of Hickam search the wild blue yonder I wish for my F3, then I put the roof down and pull my .75g (y-axis), and hope that the Goodyears hold on.
