i just bought a 02 xkr100 edition with about 18k miles. i still have a little warranty left. i keep reading about the plastic chain guides and water pump problems. would the 02 engine have these parts or are they metal in the 02s? should i pressure the dealer to upgrade the parts under warranty with the low miles? i will probably end up looking for a extended warranty. any suggestions for the extended warranty in usa? thanks
