Could it be the torque converter? Is there a lock-up in the converter? Could it be software? The adaptive shift mode allows a change in throttle under load to facilitate smooth shifting. Could this be out of synch or actuating without appropriate signal? Is there a way to road/read the codes in a test drive instead of interrogating the memory in a stationary car? Could the fluid be 'broken down' so that the clutches/bands do not quite grip? Is there an error in the automatic speed control circuits that may kick-in even in the manual mode? Does the traction control alter the throttle setting just as the shift changes causing a lurch? (Just thinking it out).
