Jaguar XKR 2000 Throttle Position Sensor TPS Fault (316 views) (577 thread views) 
Message: My Jaguar XKR 2000 has a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Fault, the engine will start in 'safe mode' only. So I wanted to replace the TPS. Call my local Jag dealer and they are saying that the TPS is not a replaceable part, that the entire throttle body (TB) has to be replaced. So instead of $200, the part is $2800. Hi-way robbery.

Anyone had this problem and solved it without changing the entire TB or found a rebuilt TB for a good price?
