Top Speed Limited (371 views) (1320 thread views) 
Message: Ilive in San Diego and go to Vegas alot. On my way, I often find the occasion to discover if the top speed of the vehicle I am driving is as advertised. My o5 XKR coupe says that the top speed is limited to 155 but, I find that it cuts out at exactly 128 evy time that speed is reached. Any ideas? The car has some cheesy BF goodrich wierd looking tread pattern tires on it right now that are extremely loud and will be replaced soon. But in any case, the top speed is definatly an electronic limit since it is consitently and abruptly at 128. Lemme know cause this is where the 545 series I might have been racing was cutting out too. Smoked him up to that point by the way:)
