| Message: | | I don't think the problem is connecting an Ipod to the Jag. The problem is interfacing the ipod with the touch screen.
Just for info guys, I have a Denison Ice-Link installed on my XK150, OK you have to use the ipod controls, and it is installed in the centre armrest, but it does play OK, and the sound quality is very good. It uses a connector and filter arrangement through the aerial socket, but until the Jaguar part is launched it is better than nothing.
With respect to the Bluetooth - If you check the forums, both BMW & Audi had terrible connectivity issues initially. Same with Jaguar, but the new generation phones seem to generally work OK. The Jaguar uses a Motorola designed bluetooth interface, so Motorola phones do interface more comprehensively (I use a Moto Maxx), but I have paired the Samsung D900 and Nokia 6280 successfully
