Message: Picked up my new XK this week - I'm in the UK. The iPod connection via the advertised Audio Connectivity Module is definitely not available. It was but has been withdrawn because of "technical issues."

I have had many and long conversations with Jaguar (including with their senior management) about this but at present they cannot confirm a date for the release of the revised product. Their best guess is Sep 07 but at this time last year they were saying Sep 06. So no iPod connection to the vehicle's audio system is possible at present I'm afraid.

You will see that they have now withdrawn the Audio Connectivity Module from the accessory page of the XK website.

The dealers know very little about either the accessory or the availability problem and in my experience will still take orders for it.
