| Message: | | No xjs suffers overheating unless there is a problem with the cooling system. Areas which can cause problems are blockages in the radiator, clutch fan failure, thermostats faulty, system not bleed properly, bottom radiator hose collapsing due to no internal spring or restrictions in water front crossover pipe. One other area to check is ignition timing and distributor faults. Such faults can be no mechanical advance and faulty vacuum automatic advance which can severely retard ignition causing engine to overheat. One other area is dragging brakes
