two ht coils are incorporated on the v12 he engines. the main coil which sits on top of the motor works in conjunction with the auxiliary coil. the ht section of the auxiliary coil is not used and the ht outlet is sealed. the main coil supplies power to both banks, while the auxiliary coil enables the ignition system to achieve the required power at high engine speeds under load. removing the distributor cap can be quite daunting and difficult. i would suggest that you mark every lead with a textra pen which will stop leads being attached to the wrong spark plugs. its quite common for a person with no mechanical knowledge to mess up and relocate leads wrongly
