I would look into the brake accumulator. I just had similar problem and got an accumulator online for $230 I think and it is easy to replace in a few minutes. It's the bulby looking thing on the passenger side of the engine close to the window.

Were you able to fix the top motor? Mine is leaking fluid and I'm not sure where to start?
