Message: Well, I doubt it would help, and I don't have a before/after picture because my car has always had chrome (in the summer, black in the winter) but I have pentas on it now if you have never seen an R with chrome. Let me know if you would like to see them and I could email you pics.
Side-note: personally, I have always thought chrome wheels were kind of ghetto (no offense to anyone), but I wouldn't trade mine for anything. If I had the non-chrome ones, I would spend the $600 or whatever it is to have them done in a heartbeat. In fact, I would like to have mine re-chromed, but no one does that for under a few thousand dollars.
Something about a murdered out XJR with chrome wheels looks beautiful and scary at the same time. Just my $.02.
