| Message: | I've got a 1998 Jaguar XJR that has 170,000 miles on it. It still runs fine, but it's probably going to need a rebuild soon. The problem is, I can't find a rebuild kit (or even a short block) anywhere. From what I've read, the XJR uses almost the same block as the Lincoln LS 3.9L v8, but with a slightly larger bore. Does anyone else happen to know for sure one way or the other? I'm trying to find out what my options are for upping the performance, either through a big-bore or stroker kit. (Heck, I'd be happy with just a stock rebuild at this point!) Anyone have some advice? Someone mentioned Eurotoy and Eurotek. Do they deal in rebuilds, or strictly bolt-ons? How do I get in touch with them? Thanks guys! -Tim | ||||
