| Message: | Hello everyone and thanks ahead of time for you answers. I am a long time BMW e28 guy now i own a 1994 Jag XJ6... Great car it is for my wife she loves it. But i have some electrical issues. that i need to work on. I bought it and drove it. the Avg MPG was at 14.5 I got it out on the freeway and it got 20 to 25Mpg at 70MPH. that was great i thought. then after the second day of Road driving (long trip from where i bought it to back home) the guage started reading funny. I would let off on the petal and the Instant reading would drop and when i gave it fuel it would increase to a MAX of 10MPG. This would not be to much of a problem other that the analog fuel guage works. but you can put fuel in it and it dose not show or you can be at about half tank and it shows empty with the low fuel warning light seems once it has bounced down the road it seems to get back to normal. So where do i start: I have many more questions but this is a good start So my wife dose not have to walk home one day with no fuel. I would so be sleeping on the couch. | ||||
