| Message: | Nick: Some of what I about to tell you is probably true. Your codes center around various speed and crankshaft /cam position inconsistencies read by the ECU (engine control) and a tansmission general fault, which we know cleared. Plus an open idle contol circuit, which as I remember, was what you believed was the original problem. (How did you know that?) It is POSSIBLE that your adventure at the car wash caused the cam/crank and transmission codes in that they depend on the engine running smoothly. I suspect that the codes can get set from a severly unstable engine. In any case, get the codes reset, or disconnect your battery for 10-15 minuts to reset, then drive a day or two and check for codes again. Id code 335 comes back, you should replace the crank position sensor, which has a known intermittent failure mode. Before you buy a new idle air control valve, you (or someone) should run through the diagnostic procedure to be sure, since I suspect they ain't cheap. Good luck. | ||||
