04 x-type ABS light / cruise control issue. (93 views) (172 thread views) 
Message: I recently had a non-jaguar local shop replace the front wheel bearings on my 2004 X-type 3.0.

While replacing one of the bearings, the ABS sending unit was damaged, which was replaced. After getting the car back on the road, the ABS dash warning light has not turned off. With this, the cruise control is not functioning.

We've disconnected the battery hoping for the system to reset with no success.
