Given what you know now, good or bad, would you still buy an X-Type?

If you are an occasional visitor to this site, you'd think the X-Type was a bug-ridden beast or Coventry's gift to the masses. Here are my thoughts...

Cool, cool car. The Beemer Boys always look, I never make eye-contact. Way smooth looking sled.

I bought my car used. Had to put in a fair amount of change to date, but nothing above and beyond (tires, battery, brakes, 2 front wheel bearings). I do look at the posts and know what I might be looking at. Still, all seems well right now.

Would I buy another? Yea, I'd buy mine because I know it. There is NOTHING like climbing in your Jaguar at Walmart or a jewelry shop. Guys will look at you, but women will smile when you drive it. I love the sound of the auto gearbox from a stop and wonder what a manual would sound like. I'm pretty happy, but ask me next week...
