| Message: | | As someone wanting to buy a Jag, I keep getting turned off by the horror stories. The impression that I get from reading the posts is that Jaguar, though a prestige car, is built from cheaply sourced components, ( transmissions, electronics, brakes, etc.) that are lucky to last 100,000 miles, and then cost a fortune to repair/replace. I would appreciate your response to this. All the vehicles I've owned have gone up to 200,000 miles without catastrophic failures. Am I misreading the postings?
