Message: My S-Type 4.0 is over 137k miles, and just completed a round trip to New Jersey from Nashville, and got us home still purring. I love this car. It is however, throwing off the annoying P1388 code, which I'm thinking has to be the computer needing to be re-programmed, because this thing runs great and there is NO way it needs a new engine. Maybe a slight short is causing it, or its the computer, or both, but the bottom line is this car is a joy to drive.
