Message: took my s-type in for 60,000ml service. All o.k. but for some water in spare wheel well. This was noted on the job cards but I was not informed. 6^mths later the ECU started to malfunction due to water ingress. If the service dept. had told me at the time of the service there was a fault with water ingress, I could have dealt with it then. now they are trying to screw me for a new ECU and asociated work.I maintain that the fault is theirs in not telling me in the first instance. do I stand a chance of sueing jaguar for not disclosing the fault.
