Message: My 2001 S-Type trans fault started going on at 40,000 mi. The dealer said just turn the car of and on to see if is reset. I did this many times until the trans went out but by that time it was just out of waranty. Jag gave me the "go pound sand" speech and $6000 later my car is running again.

Today the damn rear window motor and cable broke.

The car spen 6 weeks in the shop during 2001 on 4 separate occasions to fix a problem where the car just would not start. Finally the replaced th starter it's been ok since but 6 WEEKS!

Ugh!
