Re: Disgusted with Jaguar - Class action Lawsuit???? (1231 views)
Message: I aGREE, from my point of view, who ever is doing a job on your S-type, is doing it wrong, and my .02c is not enough oil, or procedure of putting in oil is incorrect...i remember once filling in a 99 E430 in my friends car, i didnt even notice a difference in filling it, it was recomended that 2-3 at. was put in and start the car and then fill it up rest of the way , what i did was fill it up all the way recomended and then start it.....what happened is the bell housing "choked" on oil and "threw" it out through gasket on tranny oil pan without leaking afterwards,..symptons lousy shifting, big dealys, etc..... so we did it again recomended style... and VOILA, i can be a MB cert. mechanic..... like i said try to change a dealership, maybe somebody more knowledgeable is working there than the previous one...
