| Message: | My 2000 S-Type with 40,000 miles is now in for it's THIRD Transmission. I amtrying to get Jaguar Corp to take responsiblity for this on-going problem by atleast paying half of the replacement cost. My warrenty lapsed five months agoand the warrenty on my SECOND transmission went out 8 months ago. The dealer refuses to say that it is obvious this car has a real problem. Corp has just declined to fix it and I had to call them again and blast them over the phone for them to say that they will look into it ONE MORE TIME!! Can anyone over the age of 5 believe that a car with 40,000 miles has had three transmissions and it's not the manufacturer fault???!!!! I am posting this to find out if anyone out there is considering a class action lawsuit against Jaguar. If so, please post here. And, by the way, if anyone is reading this forum wondering if they should purchase a Jaguar, my opinion is RUN, don't walk, away from any Jaguar dealership! | ||||
