Just a belated follow-up on the update to my car. I am happy with the way the dealer dealt with me but not overly happy with the update/recall. The gearbox seems to be a little less hesitant than before but when you drive it "like you stole it"... in which it is the most fun way to drive... the gearbox struggles to choose a gear upon coming to a almost a stop and then accelerating again. From previous postings I understand that they have programmed the gearbox's first gear so that you don't go out of control each time you start from a stop, but I feel that this may contribute to the car’s hesitation. Will continue to experiment and drive like I stole it and thus see how things go. Still love the car and hope that all Jag enthusiast can experience a ride in one of Jag’s best cars (We’ve owned 7).
