Re: 2003 Transmission drop out/thump (463 views) 
Message: Hi I am still experiencing the problem. To be honest, I have not yet contacted a dealer to get an update, I have adjusted my driving style to avoid the "drop out". This friday I do have my car booked in for a Jaguar Australia recall, for a gearbox check re: reverse problem. Hopefully this update and check will eradicate the problem (which the service man thought it would) and give me the smooth acceleration I expect....
