When a dealer is programming the TCM (Transmission Control Module) they can choose between 2 options: normal access and coded access. The coded access can only be performed when the dealer gets a special unique code from Jaguar. They also have to make sure that the adaptions settings of the automatic gearbox are returned to zero.
