| Message: | Hi, what an amazing car and fun to drive...but I've had some strange experiences with the transmission. Sometimes (often I change my driving style to avoid this) after a few quick roundabouts around town and if for example on the third I need to slow down to almost a stop, when accelerating again, there seems to be only a trickle of power…. I know there's HEAPS and I can hear the engine revving. It feels like the gearbox is in the wrong gear as it has adapted to my driving style. If I (a) push the accelerator for more power, the engine will increase in revs and then the transmission thumps and jolts the whole car. And everything seems to be back to normal. And off I go. (b) ease off to drop the revs and then accelerate, all is ok, but this means slowing down in a roundabout and some pretty freaked out drivers following behind! Has anyone had this experience, could it be the DSC. With the gearbox in “sports” mode, it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Also I know that whilst in cruise control and going down a long hill that the engine will not always help with retarding the speed. I was told by our dealer that this is a characteristic of the car due to the gearbox’s gearing. Should I try a different dealer whom may have more experience ? ? ? | ||||
