| Message: | Your not alone, I have a 2001 XJR Factory 18 inch wheels, the roads in NYC have become so bad over this winter everyone is breaking rims. In almost 2 years, I replaced 9 wheels and 3 sets of tires, I just put new tires on friday and now another wheel is bent so bad I need a new one. Now this makes 10 total It is driving me crazy and is becoming a big problem for me. This past Saturday I just placed a deposit on a 2003 Range Rover, I think this will be my new everyday car come June. Tell your friend there is nothing he can do, switching tires will do nothing the factory cast wheels on all these cars today are like swiss cheese and our roads are becoming a battle zone. Tell him to be carefull, watch his tire pressure because too much can make it happen more often and tell him to buy 2 spare rims and not to bother having some shmo repair them they never work good and on a Jaguar you will get the shimmy on a repaired wheel. | ||||
